They locked me in a closet by C. P. Everdeen

They locked me in a closet
I didn't see the sun.
They never really liked me
But look what they have done.

They locked me in a closet
I really don't know why.
I know that they don't like me
But I feel like I'm dying inside.

They locked me in a closet
I think it's very mean.
I only wanted to see the sun
To bask in it's bright warm gleam.

They locked me in a closet
And now the sun has passed us by,
I feel like I could cry.
But I'm afraid I have no tears left
I'm afraid my eyes are dry.
