Amy's Diary by Nicole Hillary

 Dear Diary,
          
          I had just found out that my mother had invited the minister and his family. My mother had made a huge dinner, but it isn't the typical American dinner. It is a huge Chinese like one. The family came over and the humiliation started. My family was rude and didn't have any manners. Then after dinner I got a wonderful present from my mother. It was a beige miniskirt. She said that I could be a typical American teenager on the outside; if I was always Chinese on the inside. But I really don't seem too sure about it.
