One day I (Amy Fisher the investigator) went to the fashion store in the mall because of A MURDER!!! The clerk said, " The lady was trying on a necklace and decided to maybe buy it if she could find an outfit to go with it....." I got very suspicious about this clerk. Maybe he had something to do with this murder. The clerk went on, " ......and then while she was looking through the clothes she fainted and we couldn't wake her, which is when we realized she was dead!." Am i losing my mind or did this man say WE? Only the clerk was there because, they were almost closed. So where in the world did the WE come in at? Then a middle aged women walked up and said, " OH NO, MY DAUGHTER,MY DAUGHTER!!" I walked up to the lady and asked her a few questions on the lines of " Do you have a husband or other friend or anyone with you?" She said only she and her daughter had come. She said they were going shopping for a family get together/party. I asked her if she saw anything of her daughters murder. She replied no she hasn't seen anything. I asked her what her daughters name was and maybe a little bit about her. She said, " Her name is Marelince Debrono and I am her mother Malinda Debrono. As you know we were shopping for clothes for a party. I went to the perfume shop around the corner and she came here i told her i would meet her back here in about 15 minutes." I said, " ma'am do you or your daughter have any enemy's?" "No," said Malinda, " me and my daughter try to make friends no enemy's or frenemy's we try to make world peace. I would be very suprized to have an enemy, especially when i go around doing free food away's! " I told Malinda to stay there while I go take a look at the body. When I got to the scene I caught the clerk talking to someone that didn't look friendly. He looked as if he had something to hide.Once I got to the scene my partner was here but now he's gone. He said he would be here investigating the body with me. Wait, is that him leaving with Mrs.Debrono. I guess he's probably talking in private with her for questioning. While I examined the body (alone) I noticed a strange bloody marking on the victims clothing, as if she were stabbed. The marking looked as if she were stabbed but, then someone or something tried to wipe the blood off. When I finished examining the victim I walked back to where Mrs.Debrono was but she wasn't there. The only thing left was her purse and a letter. I picked up the letter and it said, "Dear Mrs.Fisher I have been thinking about this investigation on my daughter and decided to tell you the truth through a letter. Me and my daughters names are real but our personalities aren't. Me and My daughter are very rood unpredictable people and we went to jail for grand theft, shoplifting, carjacking, and much more things. Our group name is the take and run girls. Marceline always gets us in trouble and never does anything right. I hate when she takes a car stating her name like its cute when its not.! I've always hated her and i never will like her!. Sincerely, The Take And Run GIRL!!!! >:D" That is the biggest clue there is in this case besides the bloody clothing. Me and my investigation partner (Andrew Morgan) agreed that we have enough information to solve this mystery. But then, BOOM, came a kick to the door of a tall scary man. I realized that that is the man the clerk was talking to when i investigated the body. He yelled, "MARIO RODRIGUEZ!!!!" Suddenly the clerk came from the back room and said, " WHAT JAGZ!" Jagz yelled, " You took Malinda and made her write this note on how she isn't what she seems and that her name is really Amelia Rodriguez!!" A gasp echoed throughout the room. But, then I realized that in my note it said her real name is Malinda, which means she's a name changer and which means she can also change her look. Jagz said in a girly voice, " Good work investigator Fisher you have solved the case and you know who the killer is but won't say because of who it is. Because he's closer than you think. Closer on my side than yours Amy. Got any thoughts!. I said,
" THE KILLER IS....."

A Dream and a Nightmare, All in One by Vrindavan
I was just rummaging through my grandmother's attic when I noticed a very heavy-looking chest concealed behind a pile of quilts. I ripped at the quilt and scurried around the chest, trying to find the front.
Dust swirled and danced in the damp air. I found the lock and realized that t had been locked.
'Now what!' I thought.
I scanned the room, looking for some clues as per where the key could be. Then I spotted an old bureau, with the turquoise paint peeling off. My eyes trailed to the top of the dresser and I jumped back. On top of the bureau was Granny's cat,the old, gray, and fat one, Fuzzball. I slowly stepped towards the bureau, cautiously taking my steps.
I opened the door carefully and searched for the key. I found them in the back corner and looked at them. There were so many that it would take me at least a few minutes trying out each one.
Nevertheless, I started to try each one out.
Finally, I found the key and the lock popped open.
I opened the trunk, only to find a few faded letters. Then I felt around for any secret compartments. I found two and put my hand in one. I felt something round and easy to grasp. I pulled it out and found it to be a glass jar full of...HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS!?!?!?
I twisted the cap and pulled one out. Indeed, they were real.
I walked to the other side of the chest and lowered my hand into the second compartment. Inside was something rectangular and very sleek.
It was an I- phone 5. What was the latest technology doing inside the trunk.
Then I felt myself being transported somewhere and I was starting to get dizzy. The world was going around and around, I closed my eyes out of fright. What was happening?
***********************************
I opened my eyes to the sound of honking and shouting. There I was, standing in the middle of the hustle and bustle of New York City!
There I was, standing in the middle of the hustle and bustle of NEW YORK CITY!!!
I could see the Statue of Liberty standing high above the water beneath her, greeting foreigners to America.
I then realized I was still holding the I-phone that I had found in the chest. How was I going to get back home?
Well, you could just do a little sight-seeing while you are here. It wouldn't hurt you, would it? You could gaze at the entire city and never get through all the shops and cafes and etc.I thought to myself.
So I busied myself and strolled down the avenues and peered through the shop windows. I couldn't even contain myself when I saw a chocolate factory right there on the street. The chaotic world of New York City was washing over me and I ran up and down the stairs, trying to drink in the sight of a lifetime.
But then, I started to feel homesick and felt deeply hungry for some of Granny's homemade Orange sorbet.
I wished for that feeling for home that I accidentally bumped into a lady, who asked me if I wanted a ride.
"Yes," I replied wearily.
She prodded me into the limousine that she had flagged down and asked me where I wanted to go.
" Rockefeller center please, Ma'am." I said, slumping down into my seat, remembering my manners.
When we arrived, I thanked the lady and hopped out.
I was a very interesting sight and I took my time exploring, but my mind was always aching for home.
I sat down a bench and said to the I-phone," Take me home, PLEASE!"
Nothing happened. I started to cry and I felt so far away from home, helpless.
Then I had that dizzy feeling again and the world started to spin. I cried, not because I was sad but out of joy.
" Thank You!!!" I said to the phone.
I put the phone down into the the chest and locked everything up. I slid down the steps and ran into the kitchen asking," Can I have some Orange sorbet?"
I was happy to be home.

I drove down a old country road thankful that I had new tires. I saw the barn next to the lake and drove up to it. I saw my brother who said that i shouldn't do farm work in a business suit. I have never been to a farm in my whole life so it would take some time for me to adjust. I saw a lady sitting in a rocking chair and waved to her. Then I changed clothes and rode a horse. At the end of the day I decided that I would have a lot of fun on my visit to the farm. I loved the food and the simplicity of farm life. I even thought about staying two more days.
Rich Kitties By: Sasha R. Neptune
"Oh, my god!" i meowed in frustration.
"How am i supposed to hail a limo from down here!?!" i asked Genna, a red tabby.
"I donna ken, Jenny, i have no clues." meowed Genna in her funny scottish accent.
Suddendly, an idea popped into my head at the sight of an iphone gen. five sitting, deserted, on a bench. We ran over to it and hopped up onto the wodden bench. I started dialing and crouched over the phone.
"Hello!" a cheerful voice called, "This is Bob's Limo Drivers and Co. How can i help you."
"I would like to rent a limo." i said in that ugly language people call english, "My little kitties need a drive to the Statue of Liberty and i was wondering if you were interested, they are very intelegent cats, i assure you."
"Lady, you want me to drive cats?"
"Unless you arn't up to it. I guess i'll just have to save my thousand dollars for someone else then." i said with a sigh.
The driver took the bait, "I'm up to it. Where sould i pick them up?"
"At the airport. Terminal B." i said curtly, "You will find the money in the small glass jar on the beutiful grey cat's collar. If you take more than a thousand... well, just don't" And with that threat i hung up.
"Oh, do you tink tat was wise, Jenny, threatening him like tat?" Genna fretted.
I sighed, "Now, this is the life."
Genna looked down at the floor, "Hey wat is tis, Jenny, wat is tis?" she asked me dragging up an old, battered letter.
I gasped when i read the letter inside, "it's a letter, for our 'removal'."

Two long minutes later the limo arrived. He looked around and then opened the door and gestured for us to get in. We leaped into the limo and sat on the plush leather seats.I sighed, "Now, this is the life."

Mall Cop Pursuit: A Could-be-True Story; by Roche Atwatre
The craziest thing happened while I was visiting my family in San Jose, California! I was taking pictures in the most amazing mall I have ever seen, Valley Fair, when a rare blue eagle feather caught my attention. It was one and a half feet long and a deep, almost mystical, sapphire color; kind of like the necklace the man with the ski mask was running with. SKI MASK!!! That man was a thief! He stole that necklace! I had to help.
The mall cops that were chasing him just then decided to get out their guns. Those morons. Anyway, I was on the football team in highschool, so I was still very fast. I ditched my camera and took off after the thief, running faster than the fat cops and their attack dogs that usually are only used to breaking up verbal arguments that take place at cash registers. I got close to the thief, so I dove and tackled him. But I didn't realize he had a gun in his hand until it was pressed against my temple. Apparently the mall-cops had a sniper team, because next thing I knew, there was a bullet in the thief's hand. I turned around and kicked the gun out of his hand and snatched the necklace. Then I ripped off the ski mask ad punched him in the face. After all of my hard work, all I was awarded with was a half-eaten donut. So much for a medal of honor, hehe.

The Murderous Necklace
by Lily Windom-Price
Oh no! Someone has been murdered at the mall . Who could have done such a terrible thing I wondered. I must search for clues."Well she was trying on a necklace and decided that she was going to think about getting it." said the store-clerk "Then she was looking at dresses 5 minutes later and passed out then stopped breathing detective Price" "Tell me did someone have it before her?" I asked "Someone spilled something on it, I'm not sure who it was he didn't show his face." I decided ask more people. "I would never do such a thing." the reporter said " Sure I looked at it but never touched it." "Then why was there a blue quil near the necklace?" I asked just as a dog came flying in out of no ware. It tried to tear up a police car, so I opened the door and out came pioson the same pioson used to kill the woman. It was not the police officer though it was.....
who was it
(It was the store-clerk because she didn't say whether someone touched it or not plus she she wasn't at the counter when the police showed up and the door was unlocked the dresses are on the other side of the mall so she couldn't have seen her die she was so busy trying to cover her tracks she forgot to mask the scent of poison on her hands )
The Cats by DamienN02
The limo pulled up, the driver getting out to open the passenger's door. The door opened, and there sat a fluffy gray cat. "Aww man, not again," I thought to myself.
"What did I tell you about touching the THINGAMAGIG?" The little cat said.
"Well, not to touch it," I replied.
"Don't smart-mouth me boy. But yes DO NOT TOUCH IT AGAIN! Where is it?"
"In the 'cabinet', second shelf." I said as we passed a mirror and I could see my skinny gray self.
"Buster, break 'er open," He said, "There is our big money! The one and only Money Cup that we stole. The biggest of Bigville, our cash. I'll get 60%, Buster will get 20%, and you'll get 20%, deal?"
"Deal." I said as we shoke hands.
"WHOO-HOO!" I said as I got some mail. "Money time!"
"BE QUIET!" My next door motel manager yelled.
For years I had lived in a dump, no money, but because the crew robbed 'ol Liberty herself, we were rich. Oh that's right, you haven't heard the story, I'll tell it.
We rode up in a mini-van, guns a blazing on the humans, well, paint ball guns. we went in there with our keys and just took money. $400,000,000. we were rich.
So that's how we got the money, how we ended up with $300 is a different story, but hey, why not tell it?
We got stopped by some thugs outside and so we got out our bats and fought, took em thirty seconds to beat us. The cops showed up, said we got our lesson, but I hid 300 bucks in my hand, so we only got that.

A Dog Named Blue, by Aaron Hercules
One day there was a woman who always wore her favorite blue jewelry neclace who would take a ride to work by a policeman in a police car. Then one day she was in the mall and a guy saw her and made her a model. She had to go get her pictures taken, but when she got there the camera broke.
One day she found a dog who attacked a bluejay, and she knew it because there was a blue feather in his mouth, so she named him Blue and took him home and gave him blue clothes to wear. She had to call the police to see if they had any reports of a lost dog. They didn't so they let her keep him.
One morning when she woke up she found that her favorite blue jewelry neclace had been chewed by her dog. Then she came to look for him but then she realized he was gone, so she called the police to search for Blue.
The police couldn't find Blue so when the woman gave up she saw Blue sitting on her couch. She was happy and took back the blue neclace that Blue still had in his mouth.

Lucky's Story
"Hawk, will you tell me a story?" Asked the young, blue-winged sky-wolf, Night.
"Yes, Little One," Hawk answered, "I have a new story for you tonight."
Night perked her ears up. " Once upon a time..." began Hawk....
"Lucky, a yellow wolf-pet, was training to help the humans recover items that were taken by other humans. He was sleeping, when suddenly the bell rung loudly. His ears still ringing, he jumped up and ran into the black and white human-transport, as his human jumped behind the wheel and drove to the scene of the crime.
A new human, one Lucky had never seen before, was doing something with a small black box that flashed every couple seconds. The large building was for trading green-paper for items that humans wanted, and Lucky had been there a few times before. The human showed Lucky a photo of a blue, sparkling, sapphire neck-piece that humans love wearing around their short necks.
Lucky sniffed the air, and smelled the perfume-like scent of the blue neck-piece. He barked, and ran speedily toward it. A man was covered in the scent, and Lucky was positive he was the culprit. He grabbed the man's pant leg and growled. Lucky's human came running when he saw. Lucky's human talked to the man, and searched through his baggage. He found the beautiful neck-piece inside the man's backpack. The man was taken to the questioning room and was fined for his crimes.
When Lucky got back home that night, he was patted and given human-made treats. He loved his job helping people."
"Wow! Will he be in another story?" Asked a wide-eyed Night as she curled up to sleep.
"Tomorrow, Night," Answered Hawk, " Tomorrow we will here of another one of Lucky's Adventures. Go to sleep now, Little One.... Go to sleep, and dream of Lucky... Good night..."

The Case of the Dog Bandit
The Case of the Dog Bandit
by: BlueBoy
One day while I
was at the Mall, I saw a tan colored dog wearing a beautiful blue necklace. He started
to run when I approached with my digital camera. I wanted a picture but the dog
wouldn’t have it. He ran and ran so I chased him as fast as I could.
He ran into a
costume shop and tried to disguise himself as a bird, for he had come out with
lots of blue feathers attached to his fur. He looked really funny and I couldn’t
help but laugh. Little did I know that this dog wasn’t exactly running from me
but from the law?
The Police had
been tracking the dog after it stole the Queen’s necklace from her jewelry box.
He was the infamous Dog Bandit, stealing because he wanted to show off the
puppies. He was a very proud papa.
Back at the mall I
was still trying to get my picture with the camera and chasing the dog but it
wasn’t easy to do. That dog was fast and I was starting to get tired. Whew! What
an exercise.
We ran through
stores, around the fountain, through the movie theatre and all over the mall.
We finally almost caught up to each other when the dog saw a way out of the
mall. A small opening by the front door, he looked back to see if I were coming
and then he slid out the door. I kept after him because I was curious as to
what he was going to do with that necklace.
Finally he stopped
behind a dumpster and I hear little puppy noises. BY this time the Police car
had discovered me chasing the dog and had surrounded the area we were in. I
told the Police to wait, I don’t think he was trying to steal but to save these
adorable puppies…
The police looked
behind the dumpster with me and discovered that is exactly what the dog wanted
to do. I finally got my picture and the police gathered up all the puppies,
their sick mom, and the dog bandit and gave them all a good home.
The Dog
The dog named Jeff went to the mall,
he stole some jewelery and got chased by the police car,
and took his camera and took a picture of a feather on the ground.
The dog ran and ran and it was like "Temple Run",
Jeff jumped and scuttled through the building,
hoping to lose the po-po's (Po-pos is another name for the police), he ran through an alley he liked to call "The colors". "The colors" is a graffiti-filled tunnel, chock full of logos and paintings.
The dog was tired and running to slow with all of this weight on him,
so Jeff decided to lose some cargo!
So at first he threw the feather off his back.
He thought the feather was weighting him down, expecting to have instant relief,
He barked"WHAT??? HOW IS THE FEATHER NOT WEIGHTING ME DOWN???"
So then he threw of the camera, and the jewelery, and Jeff ran into a gas tank and exploded the whole city into dark, red, burning ashes.

My Only Shame by Sweeney Ellkin
MY ONLY SHAME
by Sweeney Ellkin
I sit in silence at the table, staring at the food before us. Never before have I tasted anything like this, nor have I planned to. I cringe as they lick their chopsticks- that is what they are right? Chopsticks? Anyway, I find it a little disturbing, but I don't want to be rude. I give a little nod to my father, and he returns it with a weak smile. Do I really have to eat this stuff?
I wish my hair was longer so that I could hide behind it. Maybe then I wouldn't have to face such an odd meal. The father jabbed his chopsticks into the face of a fish, and when he pulled them out a clump of soft meat was on them. "Amy, your favorite." He said, waving them in front of the girl. She actually eats this?
I look over to see my father nibbling on a hunk of meat, and he seems to be having trouble eating it as well. I just want to go home, and have dinner like we do. With a roast, mashed potatoes. What I wouldn't give for some of that right now. I'm interrupted from my thoughts as I hear a belch that could have ripped the paint right off of the walls. My eyes widen as I look at the man, who quickly explains that by doing so you are thanking the chef. I don't understand, isn't that bad manners? I guess I should try to be polite, but my dad beats me to it by releasing a small burp.
Once the meal is finished, we thanked them and left. Honestly, I kind of liked it. I guess I shouldn't have been so quick to judge people just because they were from a different culture.

Why be ashamed by:Estelle
WHY BE ASHAMED
BY:ESTELLE
I was so ashamed I want to be like an American girl but I'm Chinese. There is this boy I like his name is Robert. Robert and his family are coming over for dinner and I am so embarrassed. My hole family is coming and they don't know American manners at all. Today my mom is cooking and the tofu looks like white sponges. Everybody is here and we are all siting at the dinner table all me relatives lick there chopsticks and then eat the food. Robert and his family are weirded out by my family. My dad licked his chopsticks and jabbed them right under the eye of the fish then pulled out his chopstick and said here is your favorite part the cheek. I was so embarrassed that I just wanted to leave the table and go cry. But I realized that you are who you are.....

A very fine dinner...NOT! by Vrindavan
Ding Dong!
I wish we didn't have to come to this house for dinner. I could smell the Chinese aroma drift down the street.
It penetrated the walls of our car and swirled the air.I didn't like it.I was trying to hide my disgust in the car from Dad, but I just couldn't.
The father opened the door and smiled.I followed Dad into the house and Grumbled a low hello. I wish I could've just ran back home. The air was thick with the smell of roasting fish and spices from around the world.
I noticed that the girl was always red-faced and didn't say a word, but she would glance at me every other minute. It felt uncomfortable.
Then her mother brought all the dishes and platters and many people started to arrive.
We waited patiently,or at least Dad was fine.My stomach growled louder and louder with each minute, but it was drowned out with the sound of laughter and chatting, belches and burps.
Then, in the middle of it all, the father picked the soft meat under the eyes and said,"Your favorite Amy.", and offered her the fish cheek. I felt sorry for her.
When the father was finished with his meal, he let out the loudest belch I have ever heard.I filled the room and then he complimented his wife about her cooking.
" You see, it is nice if you belch and then congratulate the chef about their mastery in the art if cooking, this is the etiquette for Chinese." he explained.
I just stared at the man, even though Dad says not to stare at people.Stared.
This was absolutely unbelievable.I even had a hard time eating all of this stuff in front of all these relatives and others and now, this man is telling us to...
Burp!
Oh my god. Now Dad just did what the man said to do . I could feel my cheeks get redder and redder.
This was beyond imaginable. Even the girl was watching her father now, wide-eyed and apparently humiliated.
I wish we could just leave.

The Chinese Dinner
by Lily Windom-Price
As I walked in the door I could smell the that fish, and I could tell it was going be different. Not American. First of all there was no turkey, roast, or ham. Amy, a little Chinese girl, was emberesed
so I asked her a few questions. She didn't feel like talking, sadley. her mom asked me to stay for dinner, so I did. The're manners were, I can't even begin to describe them. They were horendous, reaching over the table to get food, chopsticks instead of forks, and belching after dinner to show their appriciation.
A Chinese Dinner
As I sat down to a Chinese dinner,
I felt my stomach getting thinner and thinner,
So as I was going to devour,
I got hungrier every hour,
So as I looked at my dish,
on it I saw a huge fish,
So then as I ate,
The food was great!
Then I went home,
forever to roam,
I started counting sheep,
and then fell asleep!

Lesson Learned By:Sasha R. Neptune
I saw him at church one day
Oh, he was a sight
That boy, the paster's son
The one all the way over there
I heard he was coming over
I nearly fell in fright
What would he think of us
And the meal that night
I saw his face as he walked in
He didn't want to be there
I was quiet while we ate
And wished I was with a bear
He didn't like me then
And he never will
But I learned something that night
That I should never change who I am

The Dead Man - Aaron Hercules
There was an old man who died in his house. Blood was shed... body parts were everywhere, which included his vulture eye. The old man was in his bed. The other guy came in his room and ruined it. He broke the lantern, dragged the man to the floor and cut his head, arms and legs. The three officers came and found him dead.

super cop saves old mans death
as the super cop just getting finish with one mission . another one came up . an old man was killed in the most brutal way ever by an man . detail : ( head / legs/arms cut off) . so as super cop makes his way to the crime seen a man said the old man came over at night and said he went on vacation but, the old man was blind . so the case was brought to an end and the cops went on an coffee break. to prevent things like this from happening is keep doors locked at all times . and ask for help right away and dont try to do things on your own.
he might not be crazy :by Estelle
Is he crazy? maybe. I don't know he says that a dead man is on a trip. But then again he is old so maybe he is going crazy.I'm a cop trying to solve a crime. The dead guy is buried under the house. The old guy sits on the floor where the dead guy is and says he could hear the dead guys heart beating. Is it true is the old guy right I just cant tell. I want to trust him but I just don't think I can trust him. It would probably be really hard to, but as a cop I think I will trust him. Maybe he's right but maybe he might just not be crazy. It doesn't matter what other people say. I'm just going to have to believe what my heart tells me......

Beating Under The Floorboards
by Sweeney Ellkin
A scream. One loud wail that has seemed to etch itself in my mind. I cannot remove it from my thoughts, for it has firmly planted itself there. I cast a weary glance up at the small home, and for a moment my stomach seems have floated up into my throat. I almost want to return to the police station, but my duty demands I face this mysterious cry heard by a neighborhood woman. We near the front door, and I can faintly hear breathing on the other side. I nod to Sebastian and Seamus, signaling it is time. Sebastian steps forward and knocks on the door with a large hand. I find myself nervous, me, of all officers. I've never been much of the nervous type, but today is different. This neighborhood hardly ever reports these things, and I fear something truly terrible has occurred tonight.
The door swings open to reveal a man, whom I guess to be around the age of forty. He flashes a smile and welcomes us into the house, although I can't help but feel something is very wrong here. My mind races with possibilities as we are seated at what I can assume is the dining room table. I swallow, taking a moment to survey the room. It's rather dark, for the moonlight that had been cast over the home was now shut out by the closed door.
I drift off into my own mind while the man makes idle chit-chat. He speaks of the man's trinkets, and how each is accounted for. I don't listen however, I can concern myself with larger issues. Although, what can I make of this? A shrill scream in the dead of night. I can tell you now, this doesn't happen often. It's rather unsettling, actually. What I can't place, is when did the elderly man leave? I haven't the slightest idea how this man ties into the story, but it seems he does have some connection to the old man.
I almost want to take my leave of this house, but something makes me stay. The sudden chill running down my spine tells me something, whispers in my ear, do not leave, for the story is about to unfold. I obey, keeping myself seated long enough to witness something that sparks curiosity in me. The man has begun to look wildly around him, his chair thudding against the floor with every move he makes. As if every puzzle piece was gathering to place themselves together, the scream's owner would soon be unmasked, and I believed I was sitting just a foot and a half from the man who caused it.
All of a sudden with pain in his expression, the man confesses. I sit back and smirk as he wildly tries to cover his ears. He shouts, stomping on the floor. My smile is mirrored by my two colleagues, for we all know now what man has committed the horrific act. Under the floorboards, the faint bum-bum.. bum-bum.. was heard by this murderer, and it was the noise that told the story. The beating that helped events unfold. I had found my murderer, and here he was, hollering right before me.
the end.
An Unusual Man by Vrindavan
It was a very cold morning as I was strolling down the street, my instinct told me something was unusual. There was something about this street that was ticking my spine. Then, a woman ran up to me. She was pale and gasping.
"Please, sir!" She cried." I heard a horrible shriek just a few minutes ago from my neighbor's house. I have been noticing some suspicious behavior for a few days."
' This must be part of that feeling I had! ' I thought.
" Yes ma'am, now take me to that house please." I replied.
As she led me down the sidewalk and then pointed to the door. I noticed that she was becoming paler with each step, recounting that moment.
As I knocked on the door, she walked quickly back to her house.
A very unusual looking man opened the door.
He opened the door with a smile.
"Come in!" He chirped.

the murder
It started when we heard a shriek and went to investigate at a senior citizens house. We knocked. A young man answered. At first he seemed sane but as he let us around, I grew uncertain. He asked us to stay and talk. He said the old man was on vacation and not decapitated beneath the planks where we sat. We continued talking on other matters. Soon the young man grew restless-hitting his chair- glancing at the ground. after several minutes he shrieked. "Rip up the boards, then, you villains, his still beating heart lies there!"
Confesion By Selena Gomez
''Where's the old man'' said the officer ''He's out in town'' said the suspect. The officers chat and then. ''Fine I confess I did it he's under here'', ''Is he alive'', ''NO! he's dead.''
Old man killed by insane man
A neighbor reported screaming late at night so I, accompanied by two other police officers, went to the house were the screaming was heard. A man answered the door and said that he was screaming because of a nightmare. He allowed us to look around and after we found nothing let us sit down. The man thought he heard the old man's heart beating and confessed to the crime. This was clear that the man was insane since the old man was dead and therefore his heart was not beating.

SHREIK!!!
I was horrified when I heard that sound.
But what could I do when I walked into the scene at 4:00 AM.
My buddy and I knocked on the door rapidly.
A man s-l-o-w-l-y opened the door and peered around.
He had a guilty look written across his face and I knew that we had just hit the right house.
As my friend entered the room a horrible stench drifted around us.
Something told me that something was wrong; our host was sweating like a madman and he always was showing a very fake smile, never authentic.
Then my buddy passed me the look and we started chatting and chatting.
Suddenly the man got up and started pacing the room and sweat was drenching his shirt.
Something was definitely wrong.
Then I jumped; the man had just yelled.
"Villains!" He shouted." Here!!! He is here!!! Under this floorboard! I admit my
foolish deed. Yes he is here!!"
Then silence. I knew that something had been wrong.

-------------------The officer's view of "The Tell-Tale Heart"--------------------------
Well, it was a usual Wednesday as I was checking out the neighbor-hood, and I was just eating a doughnut and coffee, and all of a sudden, my walkie-talkie started blaring"Officer Joe, I repeat, Officer Joe, there was a disturbance in 1309 James Street!" "Roger that." I reluctantly replied. "What IS it, anyway?" I thought. I drove on over in my police auto-mobile, and I just walked up to the door and knocked 4 times. Bum bum bum bum. And then the madman of the neighbor-hood answered the door. "Hello!", he said joyfully! Come on in! I slowly walked in, suspicious, thinking this could be a trap and he could kill me at any moment...
But instead, no killings(so far), no traps, so I walked in and asked him"What was the scream I heard?" He replied "That was just me in my sleep." "Weird... " I thought. Oh well, he showed me around the house, blabbing on about stuff I don't care about. And when we got to a certain room, he asked me to sit down. So, I did.
All of a sudden, he had THE BIGGEST SEIZURE EVER! You should have seen it! Then he pried some floorboards with blood, gore, and unidentifiable things buried under there! Then he admitted that he killed him.

The Early Morning Outing By: Sasha R. Neptune
I got a call this morning. A very suspicious call, indeed. Someone had heard a screech in the night, that is very suspicious, indeed.
I got in the car with my pals and drove to the sight. We knocked on the door and it opened to revile a shocking sight. A man with a huge smile on his face greeted them with alert eyes. It was very suspicious, who would be awake and alert at this hour?
He lead us in and told a tale about the old man that lived here. He showed the way with a satisfied grin, who knows what he had done. He didn't steal the man's money, that's for sure, for he showed it to us safe and sound.
He spun us a tale and then spun around the room screaming and crashing things. He said he heard a awful noise somewhere inside his head. He screamed at us to look under the floor and we did as he told. I looked underneath and with a surprised gasp I found another face looking into mine.
He had cut the old man apart! He had killed the old fool in his sleep, for he was as cold as stone. So that was the conclusion to this outing, oh, so early in the morning.

Death of an Old Man - CF
A nice old man was murdered in his home by a deranged man. We arrived at the home greeted by a man who had claimed the old man was out in the country. We had learned from witnesses this was not the case as the man had no relatives and was unable to travel.
The murderer started to become agitated upon investigation and finally confessed to the murder and dismemberment of the victim.
The victim was blind in one eye and a great member of the community. He was well loved by all and a great man.
The madman has been arrested and will never have a chance to harm anyone again. Please make sure all doors and windows are locked so this doesn't happen to you. Always report suspicious activities and never open your door to anyone.

THE BEATING HART
I go to the house and I knock on the door, and a guy opens the door, and he says "come in", so we come in and sit down. The guy is jumping up and down on the floor and where like what's going on with him? So we ask, he nervously said "nothing"so we said" move out of the way"! He then said "NO"! We picked him up and moved him. We picked up the floor board and there was a body so we arrested him and he died in the jail.

A Small Heap of Sunlight By S. R. Neptune
Why, oh why is the sun so scarce
Why is there barely any
Why is there so little to share
When it looks so full and plenty
The Rain of Venus -Grace Blackgaard
I remember, though vaugley
The bright golden- yellow, blinded me.
Such brightness,
Such heat,
Such beauty.
Seven years of rain,
Seven years of cold,
Seven years of waiting.
Seven years until it comes again.
They fforgot me,
The darkness of the closet consumed me,
While they were playing in the sunlight.
Seven more years of waiting and wondering,
"When will it be?
Seven years until the sun shines on Venus

Such heat,
Such beauty.

Poor Margot by Allison Reynolds
They locked Margot up in a closet,
And laughed and stuck hands in each pocket.
So poor Margot was not in the sun,
while the others where all having fun.
But then they remembered sad Margot,
and unlocked the door to the closet.
But alas the sun was no more
and to wait seven years what a bore.
And laughed and stuck hands in each pocket.
So poor Margot was not in the sun,
while the others where all having fun.
But then they remembered sad Margot,
and unlocked the door to the closet.
But alas the sun was no more
and to wait seven years what a bore.
Locked Away, a song by: Rock Child 11
They locked me away in a small room today
Locked me away and forgot about me
I stood there in the darkness
just waiting for a glimpse of light
I don`t know why ( I don`t know why )
I don`t know why ( I don`t know why )
I don`t know why I was locked away
( Chorus )
Can you please tell me why
I was locked away
Oh I just want to know
Why I was locked away
Can somebody help me
Just tell me why ( just tell me why )
Just tell me why ( just tell me why )
Just tell me why I was locked away
The silence it haunts me
I stare into the face of the pitch black
and listen to the silence calling my name ( Margot, Margot, Margot )
Reach your hand out and grab mine
Take me away ( take me away )
Take me away ( take me away )
Take me away from this place
Can you please tell me why
I was locked away
Oh I just want to know
Why I was locked away
Can somebody help me
Just tell me why ( just tell me why )
Just tell me why ( just tell me why )
Just tell me why I was locked away
I`m held down by chains
I`m getting sucked into a vortex
Is this the kind of world we live in
Where a girl is locked away
I`m searching for an answer
Please help me I need this answer
Can you please tell me why
I was locked away
Oh I just want to know
Why I was locked away

I threw myself against the wall
I banged but no one heard me at all

they opened the doors to a dark world behind doors and shoved me in not letting me see the face of the sun for another 7 years yet I refused to cry I would not let them make me cry anymore than I already have if they wished to hate me they could but taking away the only time I would be able to see my long lost light or my sun ever sense I got onto this planet I hadn't seen the sun for it was a place only capable of rain, rain, and more rain and the last time the kids here saw the suns beauty was when they were two years old so alas they have no memory of it but on earth I was four years old so I have some memories so I sit in the dark closet waiting for someone to open the doors so please let me see some sun from behind these closet doors.
animal shelters by Estelle
Animal shelters why are they good? There good because they help save animals if there left or if they broke something. Animals need help all the time. The shelter takes in about 6-8 thousand dog and cats a year. That means that they could have been left or abused. It is sad walking into the shelter knowing what has happened to those animal. Shelters are good because the help and save animals every day......
Margot's Fall From the Sun by I. A. Moore
There was a girl Margot from Earth
With a sun-filled and wonderful birth
But the Venus kids shunned her
Then hid her and stunned her
Which made her feel lacking in worth.
With a sun-filled and wonderful birth
But the Venus kids shunned her
Then hid her and stunned her
Which made her feel lacking in worth.
why did they do it
Why did they do it
she thinks
Why did they do it
The sun
they see
The sun she wished to see
On Venus
it rains
Except for once in seven years
The closet
they locked her in
So she couldn't see the sun
The sun
she remembers
They hate her 'cause they don't
Why did they do it
she thinks
Why did they do it

An Hour of Sunlight... Missed by Timothy Hawk
An hour of sunlight missed,
because of,
bullies, those kids.
They never, saw the sun,
and left me crying, in a dungeon.
I know the sun,
it's a red-hot circle,
bringing joy and fun.
But soon they will find out and realize...
Though it's 7 years for the sun,
it's every day on Earth.
On Venus, everyone runs,
to shelter and home.
But I'm telling you now,
you won't believe.
I'm telling you now,
just a chance for you to see...
I know the sun,
it's a red-hot circle,
bringing joy and fun.
But soon they will find out and realize...
When they opened up the doors,
I was happy forever more.
They told me all about the sun,
and asked for forgiving.
And I said: it is all done.
Soon, I'll be on Earth,
where everyday is full of warmth.
I won't care... about this incident... no more...
because of,
bullies, those kids.
They never, saw the sun,
and left me crying, in a dungeon.
I know the sun,
it's a red-hot circle,
bringing joy and fun.
But soon they will find out and realize...

Margot's song, by Tokiko
As I stood by the window, the dark gray window,
I knew that the sun was coming.
But the jealous children, the jealous children,
they knew I was going to Earth soon,
so the mean bullies, led by their leader,
locked me in the dark.
They left me in the shadows, while they enjoyed the sun,
and though I tried, I couldn't escape.
So, when the sun had gone, and the children let me out,
I knew from that day on, I would never be the same.
I would never be so scared, and I would not be so forgiving.
And never would I speak to them again.
And if they tried to do that again,
the boy who led them would be locked in a closet instead.
And yes, my heart broke that day.

And never would I speak to them again.
And if they tried to do that again,

And yes, my heart broke that day.
The Sun
a ball of warmth
a distant memory
shining in the sky
the round blanket
covering the sky with
its brightness
but I
Margot
was locked in the dark
I wish I could have
seen the sun
an orange glow hovering in the sky

margot's jernal
I'm lost on an unusual planet. I wish I knew where I am. I will figure it out soon should I explore. I am going to go to a school here but I don't know anyone.

My Favorite Summer Activity By: Kit-Kat
My favorite summer activity is swimming. I like this activity because it's really fun! If you like swimming too then you know how I feel about it. Me and my family will be signing up for the Y and there will be really cool activities there!. I will be getting a brand new swimming suit and a new pool. When I sign-up for the Y me and my family will do lots of activities. Some like, dancing class, karate class, camp, healthy eating, and swimming of course! There are many more classes to do but those are my favorite classes. If swimming were food I would eat it all the time, especially because swimming is healthy for you. I am so hoping to maybe see some of my fellow friends and classmates there. Especially for the sake of your health! Have a great and cool summer! :) https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1280&bih=895&q=cool+summer&oq=cool+summer&gs_l=img.3..0l10.1597.4476.0.4636.11.9.0.2.2.0.210.1437.2j4j3.9.0....0...1ac.1.19.img.GS5-ZAnFnr4#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=sGwQB98fMJxO6M%3A%3BwypZMNElkKXamM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fjwallpapers.com%252Fwp-content%252Fuploads%252F2013%252F05%252Fws_Exotic_Summer_1920x1080.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fjwallpapers.com%252Fbeautiful-summer-beach-2.html%3B1920%3B1080
